SIST is the only University in Morocco to deliver complete British degrees
Our academic standing, creativity and innovation is widely recognised in Morocco through quality control procedures by the Ministry of Higher Education in Morocco, University of Sunderland and Cardiff Metropolitan University and also QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education UK) www.QAA.ac.uk
We give double degrees, British and Moroccan, both recognized by the Ministry of Education, Morocco.
The programmes are delivered on behalf of University of Sunderland and Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Every year, more than 200,000 students study for UK qualifications in their own country, either by attending a local college or university where UK qualifications are taught.
All qualifications from UK universities are respected all over the world. All UK qualifications have to meet rigorous standards, and this applies just as much to ones you study in your own country as those you'd take in the UK. You'll be expected to meet the same standards as students studying in the UK and your work will be checked regularly to make sure that this is the case. Your UK qualification is a mark of quality, proving to future employers that you're up to whatever task they set.
Many students are unable to go to the UK for their studies because the cost of living in the UK is much higher.
British education will provide you with the necessary analytical and creative thinking skills you need for a better positioning in the job market. It will help you forge your professional personality and get better chances in the working world.
You might not have to speak English every day, but your language skills are bound to improve during your studies as you'll be communicating with UK academics. Presenting your essays and research in English will have a great effect on your written communication skills and you'll be amazed at how much you pick up about UK teaching methods and culture.
SIST was established in 2001.
Students have gone onto either study for their Masters (UK, France, USA) or have begun successful careers of their own for Multi-national companies – Dell, Shell, Hewlett Packard, Johnson & Johnson and Proctor & Gamble to name just a few.
Future developments at SIST include Business Management degrees evolving into pathways; at the beginning of the 2nd year a student has a choice to diversify their degree to major in fields such as – Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems Management, Marketing and Economics.
This is in addition to the Degrees we already offer in Business Management, Software Development, Tourism Management and Marketing Management.
The MBA programme has also similar pathways, beginning with 5 core subjects and then the choice of the following pathways – Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems and Social Entrepreneurship. Since its inception at the beginning of 2009 we already have 6 cohorts studying for this prestigious degree and plan for another to begin in March 2012.
The Bachelors course takes three years, MBA & Masters 2 Years.
We also operate a Foundation Year for students whose English is not up to the required level.
We provide this programme in cooperation with the British Council.
Lessons are taught entirely in English.
