They have chosen to implement and deploy Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS to replace they legacy system and implement new functionalities to support the new processes and products.   2008 - 2008 Ecobank Group, the pan-african bank that has affiliates over 24 african countries besides Europe and Asia, has chosen to deploy Oracle FLEXCUBE as the Global banking solution for all its affiliates. The project was very particular in the fact that we had 4 setups each one having several schemas (one for each country). The product catalogue was unified across all countries, having even the same product code but once a product is called in one country it would be instantiated with the specificities of that country regarding pricing conditions and tax regime.
