• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Review the Electrical drawings reports and specifications submitted by the Design Consultants at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the scope of work and agreement requirements.
• Inspection of all electrical & Instrument construction works including conduit systems, Transformers, MV&LV switchgears, Electrical Heat Tracing, Cathodic Protection, Lightings & Small power, accumulator batteries, cable tray systems, cable trenches,lighting systems, earthing (grounding) systems, Instruments, Instrumentation JB...etc.
• Inspection of all installation and pre-commissioning test activities for various electrical equipments such as power transformers, switchgears, motor control centers, distribution panel boards, neutral grounding resistors.
•Test works including megger test, continuity test and hipot test for power and control cables.
• Ensure good calibration of test instruments and measuring devices used for quality control.
• Perform all relevant loop check.
• Issuance of non conformance reports (NCR) for any violations or deviations on project procedures and standards.
• Monitor all safety aspects of the inspection on site and participate in HSE program at job site
