    - Lead studies on Japanese Public policies for the French Government: infrastructure operation, privatisation of motorways, trade barriers and railway market access.
    - Lead high level visits for French officials, Transport and Energy Ministers in the framework of the G8
    - Supported French exports: in particular supported clients on international tenders (HANEDA airport extension), railway market and Japanese financed projects in Asia

  • European Commission - DG Energy and Transport - Project officer - GALILEO - Intelligent Transport

    2000 - 2003 - Implemented and managed projects part of a multiannual investment program covering 14 Member states on the TransEuropean Transport Network
    - Managed 3 large projects: evaluation of funding requests, negotiation with partners (Ministries, regional authorities, motorway companies), monitoring of progress, ex-post assessment.
    - Definition of European Transport policy regarding intelligent transport systems: member of an internal working group identifying priority areas for the new investment program.
    - Successfully went through an audit of the European Court of Auditors on one project
    - Managed call for tenders for selection of consultants supporting program, drafting terms of reference, evaluating bids, negotiating etc.

  • French Ministry of Transport - CERTU - Project manager

    1997 - 2000 - Managed expert teams to produce national reference documents and carry-out demonstration projects to enhance road performance.
    - Participated in European Research projects with technical research centres and European consulting firms in the transport field.
    - Identified opportunities in the 5th European Research program and set up bids with European partners.
