  •Enhancing (1) efficiency, effectiveness, accountability, transparency of the House of Representatives; (2) functioning of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives; and (3) performance of the House of Representatives committees;
  •Strengthening interactions and accountability between the House of Representatives, MPs and constituents;

  • Worked for USAID, UNDP, Democracy International and Search for Common Ground in Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait and Bahrain.
  • Designed institutions, national strategies and evaluated projects.
  
  UNDP- Parliamentary Project Advisor – (November 1st, 2011 – April 30th, 2012)

  • Design Parliament’s Development Strategy (2012 – 2014)
  • Draft Standards of Procedures for Budget and HR Unit and Researchers
  • Train Members of Parliament on Gender Budgeting and open budget
  
  UNDP – Lead consultant on Youth (March 1st to September 31st, 2011)
  Main tasks:
  • Contribution to the design of youth strategy for Arab region
  • Design of youth Strategy and Work Plan for UNDP- Bahrain
  • Design of the implementation process including key activities for effective and efficient results.
  • Contribution to the design of handicap strategy for the government of Bahrain through the implementation of the international convention.

  Project’s title: Morocco Parliament Support Project
  • Coordination with Similar Projects in 16 countries
  • Coordination with UNDP and NDI Parliament Projects in Morocco
  • Coordination with Parliament’s Presidents and the Ministries
  • Managed the project including financial and human resources management
  • Parliament Support Project in partnership with Morocco Parliament. The project supported parliamentary governance, open budget process, inclusive legislation, evaluation of annual Programming
  • The project created Budget Analysis Office, Verbatim Transcription Units, promoted bicameralism and openness of parliament on ONGs and supported public hearings within constituencies between Members of Parliament and citizens.
  
  SYNU/USAID - Budget and Communication Expert – (2006 - 2008)
  • Evaluated National Budget processes and suggested recommendations for reform
  • Trained Members of Parliament on Budget Analysis, Good Governance and inclusive communication.
  • Created the Multipurpose Hall in Parliament that served as the communication space for MPs, NGOs and experts.
