Entreprises

  • VIRBAC - Graphic Creation and Packaging Development Manager

Carros 2012 - maintenant - Responsible for the technical and graphic aspects of new packaging development
    - In charge of including all necessary legal, regulatory and technical texts required by legislation on all packagings
    - Managed a graphic creation team of seven persons, including three full-time creation packaging technicians and one team leader
  • VIRBAC - Packaging Development Manager

Carros 2009 - 2011 - Worked closely with production and marketing teams to develop new packaging products that both meet the market demands and comply with the production constraints. Performed scaled-up simulations before high-volume manufacturing implementation to confirm suitability of proposed new packaging
    - Optimized production process through packaging improvement and Lean tools, to increase both production rhythm and finished products quality level. Applied learnings to all production lines including: blisters, external forms, vaccines, etc
    - Looked for and challenged new suppliers to design innovative and advanced packaging solutions at competitive costs
    - Managed two full-time technicians and one packaging executive
  • Dow Chemical (ex Rohm and Haas) - Internship

2008 - 2008 - Developed and evaluated the performances of new thermosetting polymers using DMA, FTIR-ATR, DSC, traction test
    - Achieved cost-effective and better-performing acrylic thermosetting resins for building insulation:
enhanced initial and after ageing mechanical performances, optimized stoechiometry and kinetics, 7% cost reduction
  • Rohm and Haas - Internship (co-op)

LA PLAINE ST DENIS 2007 - 2007 - Developed low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) decorative coatings for the European satin paint market
    - Achieved equivalent gloss, water and stain resistance, and hardness compared to currently commercialized paints
  • Philips Research Center, High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands - Internship (co-op)

2006 - 2007 - Synthesized self-supporting, porous membranes for optical biosensor substrate materials in cleanroom environment
    - Thoroughly characterized the properties of these new membranes by SEM, DSC and BET

Publication: Kurt, R., Simon, L., et al. 2008., Control over the morphology of porous polymeric membranes for flow through biosensors, Journal of Membrane Science, 321(1): 51-60.
