Nicolas Régent is the team leader of the department of validation and Simulation for Commercial Vehicles and Performance Turbos at BorgWarner Turbo System Engineering GmbH.

Prior to that Nicolas Régent last served at BorgWarner Turbo System as Simulation Engineer specialized in Multibody Simulations, doing simulation for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Before BorgWarner Nicolas Régent worked as a development Engineer for Kolbus GmbH & Co Kg, a German family business developing and producing production lines for the book binding industry. In this role he was responsible for both the design and the simulations.

Nicolas Régent holds a Master of École Centrale Nantes (France) in General Engineering and a Master of the Queen's University of Belfast (United-Kingdom) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.

He has been living in France, UK and now lives with his family in Germany, south from Mainz.

During summer 2012 he spent 2 month doing an intensive Chinese course in Shenyang (China)
