    The position was as follows:-

    Chief field engineer providing technical and escalation support to customer’s P5000 semiconductor manufacturing line. (Dielectric deposition using vacuum/plasma technology)
    Familiar with Intel’s use of Lean and Mx systems to reduce cycle time and cost.
    Experience in continuous improvement projects includes the development of systems and procedures to improve robot handling installation and reliability as part of Intel’s HPM programme.
    Supported customer’s quality project to reduce scrap from 650 wafers per quarter to 100 by Q3 2007
    Liased with Applied Materials US and European support to develop technical solution for equipment software issue.
    Developed turbo pump reliability project in order to reduce turbo pump usage from 16 units per year to 8, providing savings of US$50,000 per annum.
    Supported Applied Materials’s business development activities, resulting in projected business regain of US$150,000 for P5000 line in 2007.
    As the main point of contact on site for P5000 related parts quality issues, succeeded in resolving a number of high focus quality issues that were causing customer concern.
