Raphaël Didjaman, saxophonist in first and Deejay, everything plated one day to go to Australia. On these original land, he discovered the didgeridoo. Listening to indigenous rites, he felt that this instrument would be at the heart of all the changes would know his life ... it was in 1995.
He spent a year in Australia, the outback, constantly learning, following the advice of renowned players. Then he met in Alice Springs, Andrew LANGFORD, Ash DARGAN, David HUDSON, Mark ATKINS... . Those experiences will be decisive and decide to become professional.
Since then, every year he visits Australia, perfect with ever greater rigor, and collects the precious wood of eucalyptus that will then work in his studio to make genuine didgeridoos.
Respecting each timber, he works so as to accentuate the acoustic characteristics, to make the sound more pure, more toned, smooth and vibrating the material without denaturing it.
With a discography 10 albums, 1 educational DVD, and many famous artistic encounters (Symphonic & Philharmonic Orchestras, Actors, Directors, Dingers etc.), Raphael has become an experienced player and a craftsman-maker recognized for the happiness of all lovers of didgeridoo.
In 2007, he founded the music production label TRIBAL RECORDS ZIK, opening the international doors, and the interest and the trust of the media, so hard to conquer.

Raphaël Didjaman, d’abord saxophoniste, a tout plaqué un jour pour partir en Australie. Sur ces terres originelles, il a découvert le didgeridoo. A l‘écoute de rites aborigènes, il a senti que cet instrument serait au cœur de tous les changements que connaîtrait sa vie… C‘était en 1995.
Il passe un an en Australie, dans l’outback, apprenant sans cesse, suivant les conseils de joueurs de grandes renommées. Puis il rencontre, à Alice Springs, Andrew LANGFORD. Cette expérience sera décisive et le décidera à se professionnaliser.
Depuis, chaque année, il se rend en Australie, se perfectionne avec toujours plus de rigueur, et recueille les précieux bois d’eucalyptus qu’il travaillera ensuite dans son atelier pour en faire d’authentiques didgeridoos.
Respectant chaque bois, il les travaille de sorte à en accentuer les caractéristiques acoustiques, à rendre le son plus pur, plus tonique, plus suave et à faire vibrer la matière sans jamais la dénaturer.
Aujourd’hui, Raphaël est devenu un joueur expérimenté et un artisan-luthier reconnu pour le bonheur de tous les passionnés de didgeridoo.
