In the past 4 year I worked for an international telecom company, where I learned to deal with different cultures which was a challenge sometimes. Furthermore the technical challenges were there as well. The tasks were diverse, from installing servers with a Windows Operating System and software like Exchange, SQL and Sharepoint and taking care of backups of servers and desktops.
Another important task was supporting end-users. Solving problems with Windows XP and Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007/2010 and other locally installed applications.
Deployment of new desktop and laptops was done with Microsoft Deployment Server.
Other responsibilities where multifunction devices, IP-phones and WiFi access points.
In another period I was self-employed for 10 years and had to deal with all facets of running a company, from sales, accounting, purchasing finding computer related solutions and solving problems.
The past 2 years I worked for myself in our chambres d’hôtes in France, the first year mainly on restoration and enhancing the house, and from the beginning of the year we opened the chambres d’hôtes and are welcoming guest in our house.
During this period I learned how important hospitality is.
Since the chambres d’hôtes does not generate a full income i’m looking for a new challenge and hope you will give me a chance.
