I was part of a team of 4 engineers maintaining and developping new features on network statistics tools for Orange Business Services for 3 years and I managed the project during the last year. We added support for new network equipments as used by the customer (Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper...) and we extended and upgraded the web interface (Perl, Javascript, Prototype).
I also migrated a Java Swing client from MySQL to XML/RPC and then later to a partial web interface.
For Sun Microsystems France, I developped a SQL storage module in Java for Sun Access Manager. I integrated new features and bug fixes into the opensource product OpenSSO and participated in code reviews.
For 1 year, I developped, in C++, components for an iCAP server (configuration files, license management, networking core) and a web configuration interface built as an Apache module.

I managed the whole IT infrastructure of Agreentech (remote production servers, office servers and workstations, network and VPN, minor PABX configuration requests), integrating various opensource web applications for internal SSO use, and I was the point of contact for the integration with the John Deere infrastructure after the buyout.
I set up and deployed web applications (tomcat/OpenLDAP/MySQL) for sales and QA teams and end-user clients. I provided support and expertise to the development team (including setting up a modular build system with Ant).

Under the direct supervision and guidance of the R&D director, I handled the system administration tasks for IWI and its various subsidiaries: storage and computing servers, workstations, DNS, SMTP, Exchange, firewall (Windows NT/2000, SGI Irix, HP-UX, FreeBSD, Bind, Sendmail, Postifx)
I integrated a multi domain email solution with optional anti-virus support based on Postfix, Courier-IMAP and MySQL.
I wrote various scripts for system administration and to complement internal projects (Perl, mod_perl, ASP, Python, Korn Shell).
